Salary $115,000.00 per year 

Job Description:

Required skills & experience:

  • ASN required, BSN preferred.
  • Currently licensed to practice in Washington as a Registered Nurse.
  • 3-5 years of inpatient experience (preferably in med/surg) as a registered nurse is required and within the last 5 years.
  • Experience as an RN providing nursing care in the home, community, or clinic is highly desirable.
  • Must be fully vaccinated.

  • This will be a home based position, travel to appts in the greater NYC area.

Additional Job Details:

  • Perform patient assessment and provide care
  • Educate patient on their condition, prescribed medications, nursing interventions, and care plan
  • Participate in the coordination of services with other disciplines and community resources as needed
  • Identify and act on changes in patient’s condition
  • Evaluate and revise care plans/assessments based on changes in patients and/or their environments
  • Document all assessments and interventions
  • Collect specimens as required (including phlebotomy)
  • Start and manage peripheral IVs, midlines, and PICCs
  • Administer medications including IV medications as ordered
  • Insert foley catheters as ordered
  • Utilize and instruct patient/family on the use of the telehealth tablet used for biometric data capture, patient symptom reporting, and telehealth visits
  • Participate in regular case conferences and in-service or special case orientations as needed and participate in on-call rotation
  • Other duties as assigned.
