Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, accurate radiation therapy treatments using TrueBeam and Elekta Versa HD
- Operate CT simulation and imaging equipment for precise tumor localization
- Perform CBCT/kV/mV imaging and image-guided setup to ensure treatment accuracy
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary oncology team to create patient-centered care plans
- Complete chart checks and treatment documentation in ARIA/Impac MOSAIQ with attention to detail
- Respond to emergency situations and work with rapid response/code teams when needed
- Educate patients and families about procedures, safety, and what to expect during treatment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience (posting requires 2 years)
- Active ARRT (T) certification and BLS required
- Active state license as listed in the posting (CA license indicated in the job data)
- Hands-on experience with ARIA and/or Impac MOSAIQ electronic charting systems
- Experience with adult inpatient and outpatient radiation therapy
- Proven ability to perform chart checks, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, and emergency case handling
- Team player with strong communication skills and patient-focused bedside manner
Education
- Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy program (Associate or Bachelor's) and ARRT registration
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with TrueBeam and Elekta Versa HD treatment platforms
- CT Simulation (GE Lightspeed CT) and tumor localization techniques
- Image-guided radiation therapy workflows (CBCT/kV/mV imaging)
- Radiation safety principles and isolation precautions
- Experience with Bravos HDR afterloader and superficial Xoft treatments (preferred)
- Familiarity with IMRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, respiratory gating and other advanced modalities
- Strong charting skills in ARIA or MOSAIQ; Epic used for other documentation
