Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients with compassion and clinical confidence
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care clearly
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and safe transitions home
• Recognize changes in patient condition early and escalate appropriately to improve outcomes
• Contribute to unit workflow and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact RN license eligible)
• BLS required; ACLS and advanced certifications a plus
• Minimum 1 year Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• Current ACLS/BLS certifications or willingness to obtain
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong Med/Surg clinical skills and assessment capabilities
• Comfortable with IV medications, wound care, and post-op management
• Basic EHR documentation proficiency and attention to detail
• Team player who can prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to educate patients and families clearly and compassionately
