Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Assess resident condition and report changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Document care thoroughly in the medical record and maintain clear communication
• Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence
• Collaborate with nursing staff and leadership to maintain high standards of care and safety

Qualifications

• Active LPN license valid in New Mexico (required)
• Completion of an accredited LPN program (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (required or obtain upon hire)
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background checks

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN program; High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and calculation skills
• Skilled in wound care, vital signs, and basic nursing assessments
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Solid interpersonal skills for resident- and family-centered care
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced care setting
