Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, and swallowing needs
• Deliver evidence-based therapy that helps patients communicate and participate more fully in daily life
• Document progress clearly and timely in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and families with clear, compassionate guidance and home programs
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Current Maryland license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (required)
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders (required)
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred but new graduates with state licensure are welcome to apply
• Comfortable with clinical documentation and basic EHR use
• Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Great communication skills and a collaborative, patient-centered attitude

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and treatment planning for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
• Skilled in individualized therapy techniques and progress measurement
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records
• Excellent interpersonal and family education skills
• Time management and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
