Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI exams with attention to image detail and patient comfort
- Operate MRI equipment safely and follow radiation/MR safety protocols
- Provide patient-centered care: prepare patients, explain procedures, and address concerns
- Collaborate with the Director of Diagnostic Imaging and Lead MRI Technologist to ensure workflow and quality
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient and exam records
- Support off-site imaging needs at Midvalley Imaging Center when assigned
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- ARRT (MR) — American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in MRI required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) — may be obtained upon hire if needed
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
- Experience and registration in additional imaging modalities preferred
- Ability to safely function in a high elevation environment (approximately 8,000 ft)
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid MRI physics and protocol knowledge with a patient-first mindset
- Familiarity with GE MRI systems preferred
- Experience using Epic or similar electronic medical record systems preferred
- Strong patient positioning and imaging technique skills
- Clear communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced imaging department
