Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on a busy med-surg unit
• Perform thorough assessments and create clear, prioritized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes clearly in the EMR
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges and safe transfers
• Adapt quickly while floating to different units and patient populations
• Support unit flow and help maintain a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Current or temporary RN license in North Dakota OR compact RN licensure
• BLS certification required to start
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing experience
• Ability and willingness to float to other units as needed
• Eligible to pass background check, drug screen, and required onboarding steps

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong med-surg clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficient with IV medication administration and basic procedures
• Comfortable documenting in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Flexibility to work alternating 4x12 schedules and weekend coverage
