Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert, compassionate Med/Surg patient care with a rehabilitation focus
• Assess, monitor and document patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
• Safely administer medications and treatments according to policy
• Float to PCU, ICU, Pediatrics and the ER as needed to support patient flow
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges to keep care moving smoothly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and carry out patient plans
• Accurately document care in electronic systems and follow ShiftWise scheduling procedures
• Model professionalism and support colleagues in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Current RN license in North Dakota or compact license eligible
• BLS certification required (must be active)
• Solid Med/Surg and rehabilitation nursing experience
• Comfortable and experienced with floating across units (PCU, ICU, Peds, ER)
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to pass virtual interview and complete ShiftWise Flex onboarding

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required, BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Med/Surg clinical best practices and rehab-focused care
• Familiarity with PCU, ICU, Pediatric and Emergency Department workflows
• ShiftWise Flex scheduling platform experience is a plus
• Accurate electronic documentation and charting skills
• Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration and IV care
• Adaptability, time management and teamwork in dynamic settings
