Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in the Homewood neighborhood of Baltimore
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the electronic health record
• Perform assessments and report changes in patient condition to the care team
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Assist with ADLs and ensure resident comfort, safety, and dignity during night hours
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
• Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear, professional communication

Qualifications

• Active Maryland LPN license required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience preferred, long-term care or skilled nursing experience a plus
• Ability to pass background check and meet immunization requirements
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Comfortable working the 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM shift

Education

• LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited program
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic wound care and treatment protocols
• Understanding of infection prevention and control
• Ability to use electronic health records and chart accurately
• Strong clinical observation and assessment skills
• Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
