Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in the Homewood neighborhood of Baltimore
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the electronic health record
- Perform assessments and report changes in patient condition to the care team
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Assist with ADLs and ensure resident comfort, safety, and dignity during night hours
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
- Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear, professional communication
Qualifications
- Active Maryland LPN license required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience preferred, long-term care or skilled nursing experience a plus
- Ability to pass background check and meet immunization requirements
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Comfortable working the 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM shift
Education
- LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic wound care and treatment protocols
- Understanding of infection prevention and control
- Ability to use electronic health records and chart accurately
- Strong clinical observation and assessment skills
- Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
