Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults and families
• Perform thorough assessments, develop nursing plans, and document care in the EHR
• Administer medications and treatments safely and timely
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Respond calmly and effectively to emergent situations and changes in patient condition
• Support quality improvement initiatives and uphold patient safety standards

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas (or compact license eligible)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred depending on unit
• Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience preferred (new grads may be considered in some units)
• Current immunizations and ability to complete facility onboarding requirements
• Comfortable using electronic health records and standard hospital equipment

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with medication administration, IV therapy, and charting
• Ability to educate patients and families with empathy and clarity
