Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults and families
- Perform thorough assessments and create clear, actionable care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
- Monitor patient progress and escalate changes in condition promptly
- Maintain accurate electronic charting and follow established protocols
- Contribute to a positive, respectful environment that promotes recovery and safety
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or Compact RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
- Clinical experience in acute care settings preferred
- Current immunizations and ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and care planning
- Medication administration and IV therapy
- Electronic health record documentation
- Infection control and safety best practices
- Team collaboration and effective communication
