Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor resident conditions, report changes to the care team, and follow care plans
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and family members to coordinate excellent care
• Perform wound care, IV monitoring, and routine assessments as required
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in Maryland (active and in good standing)
• Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Comfortable with medication administration, charting in electronic health records, and patient-focused care
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program (Diploma or Certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic wound care and ostomy knowledge
• Vital signs monitoring and clinical assessment
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and charting
• Infection control procedures and resident safety practices
• Effective communication with residents, families, and clinical staff
