Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care with attention to safety and dignity
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document appropriately
- Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to support best outcomes
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Respond to urgent situations and escalate concerns to providers as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- 1+ year of clinical nursing experience preferred
- Current ACLS or specialty certifications preferred when applicable
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required, BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
- Medication administration and IV therapy competence
- Comfortable using electronic medical record systems and documenting care
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
