Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Perform routine assessments and monitor vital signs, reporting changes promptly
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record and care plans
• Support resident comfort, dignity and safety through thoughtful care and communication
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharge processes as needed

Qualifications

• Current and active LPN license in Maryland (required)
• Minimum experience: prior LPN experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/vaccinations
• Strong communication, time management and teamwork skills

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma or certificate; completion of an accredited LPN program
• Current LPN license in Maryland

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Resident assessment and basic clinical skills (vital signs, wound care basics)
• Familiarity with electronic health record/charting systems
• Infection control and safety procedures
• Customer-service mindset for working with residents and families
