Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, reporting changes promptly
- Provide compassionate daily care and patient education
- Document care thoroughly and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Follow infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Maryland (required)
- BLS/CPR certification (required or obtain upon hire)
- Previous LPN experience preferred (long-term care, clinic or hospital experience is a plus)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered mindset
Education
- Vocational Nursing diploma or equivalent
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic IV/site care familiarity
- Vital signs assessment and routine clinical observations
- Wound care and basic dressing changes
- Accurate charting in electronic health records
- Time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
- Patient education and family communication skills
