Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
- Monitor resident status and communicate changes promptly to the care team
- Document care activities thoroughly and maintain clear charting
- Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and support staff to create excellent care plans
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and safe transfers when needed
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in Massachusetts (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required)
- Previous long-term care or rehab experience preferred, but we welcome eager learners
- Ability to pass background check and required facility onboarding
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN training program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Sound medication administration and documentation skills
- Familiarity with long-term care and rehabilitation nursing practices
- Comfortable with electronic charting or willing to learn quickly
- Good observational skills to spot changes in resident condition
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
