Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, bedside nursing care to patients with accuracy and heart
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility policy
• Monitor and document patient status, changes, and responses to interventions
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education to promote safe transitions
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow infection control standards
• Support a positive unit culture by pitching in and helping colleagues when needed

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Maryland or compact license as applicable
• Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required
• Prior clinical experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Reliable, team-oriented, and patient-focused attitude

Education

• Graduate of accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and documentation skills
• Familiarity with common nursing assessments and basic wound care
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems
• Solid communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Basic IV experience or willingness to train is a plus
