Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients as an LPN, focusing on safety and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document appropriately
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes promptly to the care team
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education to support recovery
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow facility policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Maryland (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Prior experience as an LPN in a clinical setting preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills considered
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening per facility policy
- Demonstrated patient-focused communication and teamwork skills
Education
- LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited nursing program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic medication administration and documentation practices
- Vital signs monitoring and clinical observation
- Wound care basics and assistance with ADLs
- Strong charting skills and familiarity with electronic health records
- Good time management and ability to prioritize in a busy clinical environment
- Comfort working as part of a multidisciplinary care team
