Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes promptly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient chart
- Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines consistently
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to support patient goals
- Support a positive environment that promotes dignity and independence
Qualifications
- Active CNA/GNA certification required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Comfortable working evening/night shifts and flexible per-diem schedules
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care or acute care is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA/GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in patient care and assisting with ADLs
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Basic vital signs collection and documentation
- Ability to work well on a team and take direction
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks during a shift
- Familiarity with electronic charting is helpful
