Hours per Week: Varies (per-diem; single shift is 7.5 hours including unpaid meal break)
Candidate Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
- Monitor residents' condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with safe mobility and transfers to promote independence
- Take and document vital signs and observations accurately
- Maintain a clean, comfortable environment and follow infection control practices
- Build trusting relationships with residents and families through respectful communication
- Contribute to care plans by documenting resident needs and progress
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (or state-equivalent) required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Prior experience in long-term care or assisted living is a plus
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Reliable, empathetic, and able to work the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift
Education
- High school diploma or GED; GNA certification or state-approved nursing assistant training required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in providing personal care, transfers, and mobility assistance
- Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and basic observations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of infection prevention, resident safety, and dignity practices
- Basic documentation and charting skills
- Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
- Compassionate approach to resident-centered care
