Hours per Week: Varies; per shift 7.5 hours (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM with 30 minute meal break)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide kind, respectful personal care and support to residents of Bradford Oaks
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor resident condition and promptly report changes to the nursing team
- Document care accurately and communicate clearly during shift handoffs
- Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Engage residents in meaningful conversation and social activities to promote wellbeing
Qualifications
- Active GNA or Maryland Nursing Assistant certification required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable assisting with transfers and basic mobility (proper training provided)
- Compassionate attitude and strong communication skills
- Previous experience in long term care or assisted living is a plus but new grads are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification or state-approved nursing assistant training
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of elder care needs and dementia-friendly approaches
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during a busy shift
- Teamwork mindset and clear verbal communication
- Respect for resident dignity, privacy, and cultural preferences
