Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to residents at Alice Manor
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
- Assess residents regularly and communicate changes to the care team
- Document care clearly and promptly in the clinical record
- Support daily living activities and promote resident dignity
- Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver great care
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Maryland required
- Current CPR/BLS certification required or obtained upon hire
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred (1 year+ preferred)
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Education
- Vocational nursing diploma or equivalent (LPN program) required
- High school diploma or GED minimum
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic wound care and ADL assistance
- Vital signs assessment and reporting clinical changes
- Familiarity with electronic charting and standard nursing documentation
- Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
- Compassionate resident-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
