Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care for residents, assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs and condition changes accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans and communicate resident needs
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in resident charts and facility records
• Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety procedures
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful, person-centered care
• Pitch in as a team player during busy times and help maintain smooth shift transitions

Qualifications

• Current New Hampshire LNA certification or equivalent required
• CPR/BLS certification required or willing to obtain prior to start
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but new grads with strong references considered
• Ability to work evenings 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM for the contract period
• Valid background check, TB test and required immunizations per facility policy
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of state-approved nursing assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in resident care and assisting with ADLs
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with basic electronic charting and paper documentation
• Knowledge of infection prevention, safe patient handling, and resident rights
• Good time management, teamwork, and clear communication with clinical staff
