Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents during night shifts
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document appropriately
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper charting in line with facility policies
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to deliver safe continuity of care
• Participate in shift handoffs to ensure smooth transitions and excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in New Mexico (required)
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification (required or obtain upon hire)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred, long-term care experience a plus
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to work nights and a rotating schedule as posted

Education

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited practical nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Patient assessment and basic clinical decision making
• Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems
• Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
• Ability to provide compassionate care to older adults and those with chronic conditions
