Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to residents at Pine Point Center
- Assess patient status and document findings clearly and promptly
- Administer medications and treatments according to orders and facility policy
- Collaborate with the care team to create and update individualized care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
- Monitor and report changes in condition to ensure timely interventions
- Support a positive resident experience through respectful, person-centered care
Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in Maine (or compact RN license where applicable)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent patient care experience preferred
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Comfortable with medication administration, charting, and care planning
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program
- For RN roles, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and bedside nursing skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Familiarity with long-term care or skilled nursing workflows preferred
- Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
- Basic electronic charting experience is a plus
- Compassionate patient interaction and strong observation skills
