Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Follow care plans and assist with documentation in a timely manner
- Support a friendly, team-oriented environment and participate in shift handoffs
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in the state of Maine (required)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Availability for the scheduled shift (2:45 PM - 11:00 PM on 12/24/2025)
Education
- High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in safe patient handling and transfers
- Familiarity with infection control and basic clinical observations
- Comfortable with electronic or paper charting and documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Compassionate bedside manner and resident-focused approach
