Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
• Document care and patient interactions accurately and timely
• Support a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
• Help create a positive experience for residents and their families through respectful communication and empathy

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Maine (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtain upon hire)
• Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or similar setting is a plus
• Ability to work the specified PM shift (2:45 PM – 11:00 PM) on 12/25/2025
• Reliable, compassionate, and able to handle physical aspects of the role
• Clear background check and any required facility screenings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program and active CNA credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care best practices
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
• Ability to follow care plans and direction from licensed nurses
