Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and transfers in a safe manner
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
• Document care provided accurately and timely in the resident record
• Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents receive proper nutrition and hydration
• Follow infection control procedures, safety policies, and facility protocols
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver resident-centered, respectful care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Maine or eligible for Maine CNA registry
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain quickly
• Minimum of basic hands-on resident care experience preferred
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB test per facility requirements
• Clear background check and ability to pass required screenings
• Reliable transportation to Pine Point Center and availability for the 12-25-2025 shift

Education

• High school diploma or GED and completion of a state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and safe transfer techniques
• Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
• Strong communication and teamwork with nursing staff
• Understanding of infection control and resident safety practices
• Basic charting and documentation skills
