Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an LPN on the unit
- Perform timely medication administration and accurate documentation
- Conduct focused patient assessments and report changes to the care team
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to coordinate care
- Assist with procedures, ADLs, and safe patient transfers
- Maintain accurate, professional charting in the electronic medical record
- Adhere to infection control policies and promote patient safety
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Maryland (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical nursing experience preferred
- Comfortable working evening/night shifts and handling a fast-paced environment
- Current immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
- High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong medication administration and documentation skills
- Patient assessment and basic clinical skills (vitals, wound care, ADLs)
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
- Basic familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and charting
- Good time management and prioritization during busy shifts
