Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist with interventional radiology and special procedures, supporting physicians and the care team
- Prepare patients and procedure rooms, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment during fluoroscopic and interventional procedures
- Monitor patients intra-procedure and assist with post-procedure care and documentation
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and departmental policies to protect patients and staff
- Communicate clearly with clinicians and patients to ensure smooth, efficient procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures (as listed)
- Experience functioning as an IR Tech / Special Procedures Tech in a hospital setting
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment and collaborating with the care team
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain prior to start (typical for these roles)
Education
- Relevant radiologic technologist training or certificate (Special Procedures / IR tech background preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid familiarity with interventional radiology workflows and special procedures
- Knowledge of fluoroscopy imaging equipment and safe operation practices
- Strong aseptic technique and procedural preparation skills
- Ability to monitor patients during procedures and communicate effectively with clinicians
