Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts (coverage across all days of the week, including weekends and holidays): Days 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM; Evenings 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; Nights 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM. OT rotation may be required. No guarantee of hours or shift preference.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition
- Administer medications safely and accurately according to facility policy
- Provide ADL assistance and compassionate direct care to long term care residents
- Manage gastrostomy tube care and urinary catheter care as required
- Deliver nebulizer treatments, CPAP support, and wound VAC care when assigned
- Coordinate admissions and discharges and communicate pertinent information to MD/NP
- Notify providers of significant changes and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and uphold infection control and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) — candidates not holding a Hawaii RN license must apply and obtain State of HI license upon acceptance of offer; Hawaii license must be active by assignment start
- Experience in Long Term Care and medication administration
- Comfortable performing patient assessments, ADL assistance, and skilled nursing procedures
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime rotation

- Medication administration and accurate documentation
- Comprehensive patient assessments and clinical judgment
- Gastrostomy tube care and urinary catheter management
- Nebulizer treatments, CPAP care and respiratory support
- Wound VAC care and basic wound management
- Admissions, discharges, and effective communication with MD/NP and care team
- Compassionate resident-centered care and ADL assistance
