Shift Type: Rotating 4x10 day schedule (4 days/week; 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM), includes every-other-weekend coverage and required on-call responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures, maintaining sterile technique and patient safety
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning, monitoring, and pre-procedure education
• Document procedures and patient care accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and techs to ensure efficient, high-quality procedural flow
• Float within scope to like units as needed to meet facility staffing demands
• Cover scheduled weekends and on-call shifts, and make up required callouts per department policy

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
• Proven hands-on IR experience (MUST have IR experience as stated)
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Pending license candidates may be considered (pending-license accepted per job notes)
• Ability to work every-other-weekend schedule and participate in required call rotation
• Willingness to float within scope to like units when needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong working knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and workflow
• Familiarity with Epic charting and electronic documentation
• Excellent patient communication and procedural support skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-acuity, teaching hospital environment
• Flexibility to cover weekends and participate in on-call rotations
