Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to adult and pediatric ICU patients during night shift
• Float between like units within scope to meet patient-care needs as required
• Document all patient care clearly and accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Support trauma and teaching-hospital workflows during nights, weekends, and holidays
• Adhere to facility scheduling and call-off policies for the duration of the assignment

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 2 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience
• Comfortable working with both pediatric and adult ICU populations
• Willingness to work nights, every-other-weekend and holiday coverage
• Ability and willingness to float between like units to meet facility needs
• State respiratory therapist license required; pending license may be accepted per facility policy (NRTO)

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with Epic charting system (facility uses Epic)
• Experience in intensive care environments, including trauma/teaching hospital settings
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills for acute respiratory care
• Team-oriented communication and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary staff
• Comfort with night-shift workflows, escalation protocols, and holiday coverage

This is a contract travel opportunity based in Fayetteville — a city with plenty to explore on your time off.
