Shift Type: Day 4x10 (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM), 4 shifts per week; weekend coverage required (every other / every third), call required
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures with focus and precision
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and provide immediate interventions when needed
- Prepare patients for procedures, manage sedation monitoring, and ensure infection prevention protocols
- Operate and maintain cath lab equipment safely, including radiation safety and sheath removal/monitoring
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (respiratory, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response) to deliver exceptional care
- Document care accurately in Epic and communicate procedural details clearly to the team
- Provide post-procedure assessment and care, including vascular closure management and hemostasis
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab / relevant RN experience (REQ: 2 Years)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Fluoro permit required (pending permits considered if application submitted at time of application)
- ARRT (preferred) — note: RCIS only is not acceptable
- Comfortable with weekend coverage and being on call as required
- Locals accepted; first-time travel RNs may be considered
Education
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- ECG/12-lead acquisition and interpretation
- Sheath removal and vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
- Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), angioplasty, stent placement
- Pacemaker/AICD insertion and monitoring, pacemaker lead management
- Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and electrophysiology procedures
- Procedural sedation administration and monitoring, emergency medication administration
- Radiation safety and fluoroscopy principles, starting and maintaining IVs, central line assistance
