Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer allergy and immunology injections safely and accurately, following clinic protocols
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings clearly in EPIC
• Educate patients and caregivers about immunotherapy plans, side effects, and aftercare
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Maintain high standards of infection control, medication safety, and clinical documentation
• Support clinic flow by triaging patient needs, preparing treatment rooms, and managing supplies
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through compassionate communication and follow-up

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required (pending state licenses are not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Experience with allergy/immunology injections or immunotherapy is highly preferred but not required
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system preferred
• BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; no weekends or on-call required

Education

• Active RN licensure required
• Nursing degree (ADN or BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Outpatient nursing workflows and patient assessment
• Injection administration and immunotherapy procedures
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record
• Allergy clinic experience, including history-taking and managing patient questionnaires
• Strong communication, patient education, and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail for documentation and medication safety
