Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality transthoracic (TTE) and transesophageal (TEE) echocardiography studies
• Administer and monitor contrast and bubble studies safely and effectively
• Conduct exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography to support diagnostic decisions
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment including Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000 and Siemens Origin
• Document findings and patient information accurately in EMRs such as Athena, Meditech and PICOM
• Collaborate closely with cardiology, ER and cath lab teams to deliver coordinated patient care
• Participate in the evening/night/weekend call rotation and respond as needed
• Model professionalism, open communication and a team-first attitude with patients and staff

Qualifications

• RDCS required
• AHA BLS required
• CCI or ARDMS credential requested (please include with submission)
• Experience with TTE, TEE, contrast studies, bubble studies and stress echocardiography
• Comfortable working in inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic, ER and cath lab environments
• Left-handed scanner preferred but not mandatory
• Proof of seasonal flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted)
• Strong communication skills and ability to accept feedback as part of a collaborative team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography techniques
• Experience with contrast agents (Optison/Definity) and bubbles studies
• Exercise and Dobutamine stress echo experience
• Familiarity with Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000 and Siemens Origin
• Comfort using EMRs: Athena, Meditech and PICOM
• Patient-focused care, clear verbal and written communication, and teamwork
