Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead trauma performance improvement initiatives that improve patient outcomes
- Collect, analyze and report trauma data to identify trends and opportunities
- Develop, implement and evaluate PI action plans in collaboration with clinical teams
- Serve as a subject-matter resource for trauma processes and documentation
- Facilitate multidisciplinary meetings and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Support compliance with trauma center standards and regulatory requirements
- Educate staff on best practices, TNCC standards and performance improvement activities
Qualifications
- BSN or higher (BSN required)
- Current, valid California RN license
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required
- Minimum of 3 years of Emergency, Critical Care or Trauma nursing experience
- Minimum of 1 year performance improvement experience preferred
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) preferred but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of trauma care principles and workflows
- Experience with performance improvement methodologies and data-driven change
- Excellent clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Comfort collaborating across disciplines and leading quality initiatives
- Attention to detail and ability to translate data into actionable plans
- Clear communication skills for education and stakeholder reporting
