Candidate Pay Rate: $65.00/hr base; OT $65.00/hr; Holiday $79.30/hr; Call stipend $7.00/hr

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room and sterile field for a variety of cases including trauma, ortho, vascular, and general surgery
- Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and anticipating needs during procedures
- Maintain strict sterile technique and ensure surgical instrumentation is properly processed
- Perform setup, breakdown, and accurate specimen handling and labeling
- Document intraoperative care and case details accurately in Cerner
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide professional coverage for assigned shifts
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of OR surgical technologist experience preferred
- Comfortable with trauma and high-acuity cases
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, weekends and scheduled call
- Current healthcare provider licensure/credentials as required by facility
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent
- CST certification (NBSTSA) required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and OR instrumentation
- Experience across trauma, orthopedic, vascular and general surgery cases
- Proficiency with Cerner charting is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in high-pressure settings
- Detail-oriented with strong time management during case flow
