Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients and design individualized treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain
- Deliver hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercise interventions with empathy and skill
- Track progress, adjust plans, and document outcomes clearly and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families on home programs and injury prevention to maximize long-term success
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Washington state (required)
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
- Comfortable with outpatient caseloads and able to manage documentation accurately
- Great communication skills and a patient-first attitude
- PRN candidates welcome; prior outpatient experience a plus
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master’s or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy accepted
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong manual therapy and therapeutic exercise skills
- Knowledge of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions common in outpatient settings
- Familiarity with outcome measures and documentation best practices
- Ability to work efficiently while providing high-quality, compassionate care
- Comfort using electronic medical records for charting and scheduling
