Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform special procedures in radiology with accuracy and patient-centered focus
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, maintaining high quality images
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support diagnoses
• Document procedures, maintain patient records, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Teach and support patients through procedures, explaining steps and addressing concerns

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in special procedures or radiology
• Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (or equivalent) required
• ARRT certification preferred or equivalent credential in radiologic technology
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtain upon hire
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Ability to follow hospital policies, infection control guidelines, and safety procedures

Education

• Associate degree or diploma in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technologist program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with special procedures imaging and associated equipment
• Knowledge of radiology safety, contrast administration basics, and radiation protection
• Ability to position patients for complex procedures and obtain diagnostic images
• Familiarity with electronic health records and procedure documentation
• Strong communication skills for patient interactions and team collaboration
• Time management and prioritization in a high-volume clinical environment
