Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT and X-Ray exams using GE CT and GE X-Ray equipment
- Operate and maintain the Bayer Med-Rad injector per protocol for contrast studies
- Document studies and manage images using Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS
- Provide patient-centered care: prepare patients, ensure safety, and communicate clearly
- Follow radiation safety and infection control practices at all times
- Collaborate with ED and radiology teams; float to Hospital ED as needed
- Keep accurate records and assist with workflow to ensure timely patient throughput
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) (CT) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CT/radiology experience (as listed in the job posting)
- Experience with GE CT systems and Bayer Med-Rad injectors preferred
- Familiarity with Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS strongly preferred
- Team player who can also work independently and self-motivate
- Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts and float to the ED when requested
- Adherence to dress code (black scrubs as required by unit)
Education
- ARRT (R) (CT) certification required
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- CT imaging and cross-sectional anatomy knowledge
- X-Ray imaging skills and patient positioning
- Proficiency with Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS workflows
- Experience operating GE CT and GE portable X-Ray systems
- Contrast injector operation (Bayer Med-Rad) and contrast workflow
- Radiation safety principles and best practices
- Strong communication and patient care skills
