Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology imaging and assist physicians during procedures with attention and precision
• Operate and maintain fluoroscopy and digital imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including monitoring vitals and following sterile technique
• Prepare procedure rooms and maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated, high-quality care
• Educate patients and families about procedures and provide compassionate support

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology (as listed)
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification preferred or ARRT eligible
• Current state radiologic technologist license for Texas (or ability to obtain)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained upon start
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment and following sterile protocols

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred
• ARRT certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and imaging modalities
• Proficient with fluoroscopy, image acquisition, and radiation safety principles
• Skilled in patient positioning, sterile technique, and procedural support
• Good communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and patients
• Attention to detail for documentation, inventory, and equipment checks
