Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized rehabilitation plans
- Deliver hands-on treatment and therapeutic exercise to help patients regain mobility and independence
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the rehab team to coordinate effective care
- Document treatments, progress, and discharge plans clearly and on time
- Educate patients and families to support recovery and prevent future injury
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience (required)
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Florida or eligible for Florida licensure
- Current BLS/CPR certification (facility may require)
- Strong clinical reasoning, patient-centered approach, and teamwork mindset
Education
- DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) preferred; Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physical Therapy accepted
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of rehabilitation principles and therapeutic modalities
- Skilled in patient assessment, treatment planning, and outcome tracking
- Proficient with electronic medical records and timely documentation
- Excellent communication, empathy, and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
