Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate Siemens CT scanners and Bracco contrast injectors to deliver high-quality imaging studies
- Perform CT and X-ray exams across all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, including OR and high-acuity ER studies
- Demonstrate safe venipuncture and contrast administration when required
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to prioritize care in a busy, level 1 trauma environment
- Accurately document studies in EPIC and manage images in McKesson PACS
- Float between main campus and UC campus as needed and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Provide excellent patient-centered care and clear communication for patients and clinical teams
Qualifications
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) required
- CT certification preferred
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience; level 1 trauma experience required
- Prior travel assignment experience preferred/required
- Valid driver’s license required at submittal (radius rule enforced)
- Must not be currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facility
- Ability to perform venipuncture and handle high-acuity patients with professionalism
Education
- Certification required: ARRT (R). Degree not specifically listed in posting.
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with EPIC charting and McKesson PACS
- Hands-on experience with Siemens imaging equipment
- Familiarity with Bracco contrast injectors and safe contrast protocols
- Strong prioritization and multitasking skills in a fast-paced trauma setting
- Team player mindset with excellent follow-up and customer service
- Adaptability to float between modalities (CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound) when needed
