Candidate Pay Rate: $76.30/hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate GE VCT 64 slice and GE Revolution 128 slice CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Perform CT and general radiography studies accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists across CT, XR, OR, Endoscopy, and ED to support patient care
• Document exams in EPIC and manage images in McKesson PACS with attention to detail
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and facility policies, including proper use of radiation badge
• Provide compassionate patient interaction and education during imaging procedures
• Respond to on-call requests and support varied shift patterns and holiday coverage when required

Qualifications

• ARRT-CT certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of CT or related radiology experience
• Driver's license required at time of submittal (used to verify 50-mile radius rule)
• Must not be currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facility
• Willingness to float/cover CT, XR, OR, Endo, and ED as needed
• Ability to pass facility policies (for example, removal of artificial fingernails for patient care areas)

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent
• ARRT-CT certification required; BLS required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven experience with GE VCT 64 slice and GE Revolution 128 slice CT scanners
• Comfortable using EPIC for charting and McKesson PACS for image management
• Strong understanding of CT protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety
• Familiarity with a range of modalities: X-ray, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET, Ultrasound, IR, Mammography
• Ability to work effectively in an acute care environment and handle varied imaging studies
