Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM; typically 3 x 12-hour shifts per week with a weekend commitment every 3rd weekend and rotating weekday on-call (day shift/rotating)
Hours per Week: 36 hrs per week
Candidate Pay Rate: $76.30/hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate GE VCT 64 slice and GE Revolution 128 slice CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Perform CT and general radiography studies accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists across CT, XR, OR, Endoscopy, and ED to support patient care
- Document exams in EPIC and manage images in McKesson PACS with attention to detail
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and facility policies, including proper use of radiation badge
- Provide compassionate patient interaction and education during imaging procedures
- Respond to on-call requests and support varied shift patterns and holiday coverage when required
Qualifications
- ARRT-CT certification (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years of CT or related radiology experience
- Driver's license required at time of submittal (used to verify 50-mile radius rule)
- Must not be currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facility
- Willingness to float/cover CT, XR, OR, Endo, and ED as needed
- Ability to pass facility policies (for example, removal of artificial fingernails for patient care areas)
Education
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent
- ARRT-CT certification required; BLS required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven experience with GE VCT 64 slice and GE Revolution 128 slice CT scanners
- Comfortable using EPIC for charting and McKesson PACS for image management
- Strong understanding of CT protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety
- Familiarity with a range of modalities: X-ray, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET, Ultrasound, IR, Mammography
- Ability to work effectively in an acute care environment and handle varied imaging studies
