Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging using GE equipment to help clinicians make timely, accurate decisions.
- Operate and maintain imaging systems while following safety and radiation protection protocols.
- Document imaging exams and patient details accurately in Meditech, Synapse and Clario RP.
- Provide compassionate patient care, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging.
- Collaborate with the radiology team, office coordinator, and other hospital staff to optimize workflow and patient experience.
- Adhere to ARRT and BLS guidelines, hospital policies, and unit-specific protocols to maintain compliance and quality.
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (or equivalent clinical training).
- Comfortable and experienced with GE imaging equipment.
- Familiarity with Meditech, Synapse and Clario RP documentation systems.
- Professional dress: scrubs as required by unit dress code.
- Strong patient communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Education
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program; ARRT certification required.
Knowledge & Skills
- Radiology imaging fundamentals and radiation safety.
- Hands-on experience with GE radiology equipment.
- Proficient documentation skills in Meditech, Synapse and Clario RP.
- Ability to follow ARRT standards and BLS procedures.
- Patient positioning, image acquisition and quality control.
