Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a rehab setting
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and report changes to the care team
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress clearly and timely
- Support patients with activities of daily living and promote independence
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in Maryland (or compact license where applicable)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Previous experience in long-term care or rehabilitation preferred
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program; high school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in medication administration and basic wound care
- Familiarity with rehab-focused care plans and restorative nursing
- Comfortable using electronic medical records for documentation
- Good clinical judgment and time-management in a fast-paced setting
- Empathetic bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
