Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs, monitor patient status, and report changes promptly
- Assist clinical staff during procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety
- Document care accurately in the patient record and follow facility policies
- Support patient transfers, ambulation, and basic mobility needs
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification required
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience in a medical office or acute care setting preferred but not required
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA program and active certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Foundational patient care skills including ADLs and infection control
- Comfortable taking vitals and documenting observations accurately
- Basic familiarity with electronic health records or willingness to learn
- Teamwork mindset and ability to follow clinical protocols
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
