Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Hammonds Lane Center
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Document patient information clearly and timely in the chart
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to create and follow individualized care plans
- Support a positive, respectful environment for patients and families
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in Maryland (or RN license if applying as RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Clinical experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work the listed day shift schedule reliably
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program (or RN program if applicable)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of nursing best practices and infection control
- Skilled in medication administration and basic clinical assessments
- Comfortable with electronic health record documentation
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during a busy shift
- Compassionate patient-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
