Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Perform timely patient assessments and report changes in condition
- Document patient care, observations, and interventions clearly in the medical record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans
- Support patients and families with education, empathy, and clear communication
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Maryland (or compact/state-equivalent where applicable)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Comfortable working the posted day shift schedule (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
- Previous LPN experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN certificate/diploma)
- Additional nursing coursework or continuing education preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Basic patient assessment and vital signs
- Wound care and ADL assistance
- Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
- Infection control and safety protocols
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
